Proven Peptides is no longer operating: its site returned a server error when we checked on October 21, 2026, and every source we found calls it closed. Those sources disagree on when, though: some put the closure in 2020, another in late 2024. No reason was ever published by the company. A separately run 'Proven Peptides Labs' store is also shutting down. If you're replacing Proven, the vendors below publish lot-matched certificates from named labs.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
What happened to Proven Peptides
Proven Peptides sold from provenpeptides.com. Here's what we could find, with the conflicts left in:
- 2020: Sarms.io, an affiliate review site, wrote that "as of November 2020 it appears that Proven Peptides has closed their doors", and that the closure "was not announced ahead of time". SARM Guide (April 2024) also says it shut down in 2020.
- June 15, 2023: sarms.io added an update saying Proven Peptides "is no longer in business" and warned of imposters using its name.
- Late 2024: Peptide Dossier says the vendor operated from about 2012 to 2024 and went offline in late 2024. Its April 2026 update calls it "defunct and no longer operating".
- October 21, 2026: provenpeptides.com returned a server error (522) when we checked.
The 2020 and 2024 dates can't both describe the same final closure. It's possible the store ran intermittently, but we found no notice from the company to confirm either date.
The reason: SARM Guide attributes the closure to an FDA case over SARMs sales and human-use claims. We searched for an FDA or Justice Department announcement naming Proven Peptides and found none, so we treat that explanation as unconfirmed.
What it sold: sarms.io describes liquid SARMs (ostarine, LGD-4033, RAD-140, MK-677, YK-11, S4, SR9009, cardarine) as well as peptides. Peptide Dossier says it offered third-party testing reports during its earlier years, which customers can no longer access.
Proven Peptides vs Proven Peptides Labs
A different store, Proven Peptides Labs (provenpeptideslabs.com), turns up in searches. When we checked, it was a password-protected Shopify storefront saying it was "closing our doors indefinitely" and "no longer accepting new business". It doesn't claim to be the original Proven Peptides, and we found nothing linking the two. Don't treat it, or any other site using the name, as a continuation of the original business.
If you were a Proven customer
- Watch for lookalikes. Sarms.io warned of imposters, and at least one similarly named store has appeared since. Neither domain is taking orders now.
- Your old COAs only cover old stock. Certificates from Proven describe lots sold before it closed.
- Vet the replacement. Look for a named lab, a lot-matched certificate you can check, and a published business identity. Our COA guide and COA checklist cover each field.
- Check independent data. Finnrick publishes results from samples customers submit.
Alternatives with lot-matched COAs
These four vendors, all checked on October 21, 2026, publish lot-numbered certificates from named labs. None has Finnrick tests yet, and none carries a red flag in our directory.

Bottom line
Proven Peptides is closed, whichever closing date is right, and no successor is endorsed by the original business. Choose a replacement on what you can verify. See all vendors we track, best peptide vendors in the USA and the price index.
