Amino Asylum has been offline since June 2025, and it isn't coming back as far as anyone can show. Its domain showed only a placeholder page in late September 2026. Much of what's written about why it closed is unconfirmed, so this page separates the two. Of the eight peptide vendors we review, Peptide Plugs (8.1/10) and NextGenPeps (8.0) score highest on our transparency method.

What's confirmed

June 2025: offline. Amino Asylum, described as one of the largest gray-market research chemical sellers, stopped selling online in June 2025 (PeptideLaws.com; Peptide Warehouse dated record).
April 2, 2026: store gone. Pepta Labs' shutdown tracker reported that the domain redirected away from the store by this date.
September 24, 2026: placeholder. The same tracker reported that the domain showed only a placeholder page.

No closure notice from Amino Asylum itself has been published that we could find.

What we couldn't verify

The raid. Several industry sites describe a federal raid on its warehouse in June 2025. We found no FDA or Justice Department press release about it.
Criminal charges. Some trade sites say its founders pleaded guilty to federal charges. We found no court record or DOJ release confirming that, so we don't repeat it as fact.

Before you order from someone new

Closures push buyers toward whoever ranks or advertises first. Amino Asylum's former customers are a target for copycat sites and "restock" offers on Telegram or Discord. Before paying anyone:

Search the vendor in FDA's warning letter database.
Ask for a lot-matched COA and confirm it with the lab. Our COA guide shows how.
Prefer card payment. Card purchases carry dispute rights; the FTC says crypto payments "typically are not reversible" (FTC).
Look for a legal entity and address on the site, and check how old the domain is.
