Peptide Plugs scores well ahead of Swiss Chems on our transparency method (8.1 vs 7.2). It names its lab, Freedom Diagnostics, on its site, gives accession codes you can check on the lab's own COA search, publishes its legal entity and street address, and has no FDA warning letter on record. Swiss Chems has the longer history (since 2018, per its site), the only Finnrick data of our eight vendors, and international shipping. It also received an FDA warning letter in December 2024, and only 4 of 10 Finnrick samples passed. Peptide Plugs is #5 and Swiss Chems #6 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

Regulatory record
FDA's letter to Swisschems said its semaglutide and retatrutide products were unapproved new drugs, and that its website and social media showed intended human use despite "research chemicals only" labeling. A store search on September 26, 2026 found none of those products. The letter stays on the record, so Swiss Chems gets the floor score (5.0) on this factor. We found no letter for Peptide Plugs (10.0). See FDA peptide regulation in 2026.
COAs and labs: the other big gap
Peptide Plugs has the best lab traceability of our eight vendors. Its COA page lists 117 certificates across 62 products, each with a test date, the lab, purity and measured content. Product pages add a lot number and an accession code linked to Freedom Diagnostics' COA search. Its BPC-157 20 mg page shows 99.56% purity and 20.86 mg measured. The main COA page doesn't show lot numbers, and we found no sterility or endotoxin reports.
Swiss Chems' test results page showed 60 entries, many dated September 2026, with batch codes in the file names. It doesn't say which lab tested which batch; the FAQ says "principally Janoshik Analytical." If a report is from Janoshik, you can check it at Janoshik (how). Third-party reviews report misfiled capsule COAs (VialAudit) and possibly repeated COAs (PeptideDeck). We didn't verify those findings.
Peptide Plugs leads on COA publication (9.25 vs 8.25) and lab traceability (9.0 vs 7.0). Our COA guide covers the checks.
Independent testing
Swiss Chems' Finnrick page shows 10 tests from April 2025 to April 2026, 4 of which passed. Ipamorelin rated 65%, BPC-157 52% and CJC-1295 24%, with repeated purity misses on CJC-1295. The most recent test passed.
Finnrick shows 0 tests for Peptide Plugs. Its about page offers $100 store credit for verified COAs submitted from Freedom Diagnostics, Finnrick or Janoshik, but we found no published results. No data scores 5.0; Swiss Chems' weak data scores 6.75. See what is Finnrick?
Labeling
- Peptide Plugs says it makes "no health, dosing, or therapeutic claims of any kind" and requires buyers to be 21+. It loses points for shop categories named "Weight Loss," "Anti-Aging" and "Sleep," a coded blend called "GLP3 + Elora," and tablets of some compounds.
- Swiss Chems' FAQ says it can't discuss "use, dosing, administration, or outcomes," and its terms require 21+. But FDA found its past marketing showed intended human use, and it sells capsule forms and SARMs.
Swiss Chems scores higher on current labeling (8.0 vs 7.5). We cover GLP-1-class products for research use only, with no dosing content.

Which should you choose?
- If you want to verify a certificate at the lab and buy from a vendor with a published address and no FDA letter, Peptide Plugs is clearly ahead. Visit Peptide Plugs.
- If you need international shipping or overnight delivery, Swiss Chems is the only option of the two. Weigh the FDA letter and the 4-of-10 Finnrick result. Visit Swiss Chems.
Either way, match your lot to a dated report and confirm it with the lab. For concentration math, use our reconstitution calculator.
