Maxim Peptide is closed: it was reported out of business in June 2023, and its domain, maximpeptide.com, showed a for-sale page when we checked on October 21, 2026. No reason was published. It isn't connected to Maximum Peptides, a newer store with a similar name, as far as we could find. If you used Maxim, the vendors below publish lot-matched certificates from named labs, which Maxim never did.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
What happened to Maxim Peptide
Maxim Peptide sold liquid research compounds from maximpeptide.com. Here's what we could confirm:
- Up to early 2021: customer reviews kept coming in. The newest review on its eRoids page is dated January 17, 2021, out of 236 in total; its single Trustpilot review is dated February 21, 2021.
- June 19, 2023: Sarms.io, an affiliate review site, added an update saying "Maxim Peptide is no longer in business" and warned readers to watch for imposters. It gave no date for the closure and no reason.
- October 21, 2026: maximpeptide.com showed a domain-for-sale page when we checked, not a store.
We found no closure notice from the company itself, no FDA warning letter naming it in FDA's database, and no court case. The exact closing date isn't public.
What it sold: per those archived reviews, peptides such as BPC-157, CJC-1295 (no DAC), ipamorelin, GHRP-2/6, PT-141, melanotan II and IGF-1 LR3, plus SARMs (ostarine, LGD-4033, RAD-140, MK-677, YK-11), clenbuterol, T3/T4 and prescription drugs such as tamoxifen, anastrozole, letrozole, tadalafil and sildenafil, all as liquids. Sarms.io lists e-check as its payment method and USPS Priority Mail for shipping.
Maxim Peptide vs Maximum Peptides
The names are close, so it's easy to mix them up:
| Maxim Peptide | Maximum Peptides |
|---|
| Website | maximpeptide.com | maximumpeptides.com |
|---|
| Status (Oct 21, 2026) | Closed; domain for sale | Live; advertising a 'Grand Opening Sale' |
|---|
| Location | United States (no city published) | Shreveport/Bossier City, LA area |
|---|
| Format | Liquids | Vials and capsules |
|---|
| COAs | None published that we could find | One PDF, no lab named |
|---|
We found nothing linking the two businesses. Maximum Peptides is very cheap (31 of 33 prices we checked were below our index median) but publishes almost no testing and also sells HGH, HCG and SARMs. Read our Maximum Peptides review.
If you were a Maxim customer
- Watch for lookalikes. Sarms.io warned of imposters after the closure. Any site claiming to be Maxim Peptide today isn't the original business; the original domain is for sale.
- Don't rely on old COAs. Any certificate from Maxim is for stock sold before it closed and can't vouch for anything sold under its name now.
- Vet the replacement. Look for a named lab, a lot-matched certificate you can check, and a published business identity. Our COA guide and COA checklist cover each field.
- Check independent data. Finnrick publishes results from samples customers submit, which is the only outside check on a vendor's own certificates.
Alternatives with lot-matched COAs
These four vendors, all checked on October 21, 2026, publish lot-numbered certificates from named labs. None has Finnrick tests yet, and none carries a red flag in our directory.
| Vendor | Labs named | Endotoxin/sterility | Prices |
|---|
| Mile High Compounds | Vanguard, ILS, Ethos | Yes, 15-point panel per lot | Public; about our index median |
| Nura Peptide | Freedom Diagnostics | On 39 of 81 COAs | Login (21+) required |
| PeakForm Peptides | Freedom Diagnostics, Horizon Analytical | Listed | Public; about our index median |
| Bluum Peptides | Janoshik, BioRegen | Yes, per lot | 'From' prices only |
- Mile High Compounds shows the batch currently shipping on each product page, with the lab, purity, measured content and vial-to-vial variance.
- Nura Peptide names its company (Nura Systems LLC) and a Coral Springs, FL address, and publishes 81 lot COAs.
- PeakForm Peptides keeps historical batches visible in an 84-certificate library, including a weaker one.
- Bluum Peptides posts separate purity, endotoxin, sterility and heavy-metal reports for each lot.
Among our ranked vendors, Peptide Plugs (7.5) lets you verify certificates at the lab with an accession code (review), and Licensed Peptides (7.4) posts endotoxin reports (review).
Sarms.io points former Maxim customers to Recon Peptides, among others. We don't: when we checked, Recon Peptides published no COAs and also sold kratom, DMAA and prescription drugs.
Bottom line
Maxim Peptide is gone, and its domain is for sale. If you're replacing it, choose on what you can verify: a named lab, a certificate for your lot and a published business. See all vendors we track, best peptide vendors in the USA and the price index.
