Third-Party Tested Peptides (2026): Vendors With Verifiable Lab Testing

Only three operating vendors we reviewed in September 2026 are verifiably third-party tested: Peptidology, Limitless Biotech and Ascension Peptides. Each publishes COAs tied to specific batches from a lab that can be identified. Two others, Core Peptides and Biotech Peptides, say "third-party tested" but don't name a lab we could confirm, so they're left off this list.

What counts as "third-party tested"

"Third-party tested" is the most common claim in this market and the least checked. For our purposes, a vendor qualifies only if all three of these are true:

1. The lab is named. "Independent certified laboratories" with no name doesn't count.
2. COAs are tied to specific batches or lots. One certificate per product that never changes doesn't tell you about the vial you receive.
3. The certificates are public. "Available on request" means we can't check them.

We give extra credit when:

• The lab offers public verification (for example, Janoshik's verify tool)
• Independent community testing exists. Finnrick publishes results from samples customers buy and submit, using partner labs including Krause Analytical, BTLabs, Ichor Life Sciences and PharmLabs.

Why be this strict? In the Paradigm Peptides prosecution, which ended with a 70-month sentence in July 2026, the Justice Department said the company falsely marketed its products as tested. The three vendors that pass

1. Peptidology: named labs, lot lookup, Finnrick 69%

• Labs: Vanguard, and Eagle Analytical (sterility, conformity). Both are named on Peptidology's own certificates page.
• Batch linkage: COAs are listed by the lot number printed on the vial, each with a test date. Recent entries are dated September 21-22, 2026.
• Independent data: Finnrick shows 16 tests, 12 passing, for a 69% rating. GHK-Cu scored 90% and BPC-157 44%. The tests are from May to August 2025.
• Gap: we didn't find a lab-side verification link, so the certificates are hosted only by the vendor.

2. Limitless Biotech: the most test types per batch, Finnrick 55%

• Labs: Janoshik (purity and content), TrustPointe Analytics (sterility USP 71, endotoxin USP 85) and MZ Biolabs (HPLC, mass-spec identity), according to an independent review of its certificates.
• Batch linkage: certificates are published per batch. One product page had nine documents across three batches.
• Independent data: Finnrick shows 22 tests, 7 passing, for a 55% rating. CJC-1295 scored 18%. The data runs from February to September 2025.
• Gap: the homepage doesn't name the labs, and the independent results are weak.

3. Ascension Peptides: lot-searchable library, no independent data

• Lab: MZ Biolabs, Tucson, AZ (HPLC-UV-MS), identified by Project Biohacking and Peptide Grades.
• Batch linkage: its COA library has 85 records, searchable by batch/lot, purity and date.
• Independent data: none. Finnrick has no published tests.
• Gap: the COA page doesn't name the lab, and some products are listed under codes instead of compound names.

Vendors that claim testing we couldn't verify

• Core Peptides: says "3rd party tested" and shows COA images on product pages, but we couldn't identify the lab or the lot. It has 3 Finnrick tests (75% rating), all on GLP-1-class compounds.
• Biotech Peptides: COA images are dated July 21, 2026, but no lab is named and there are no Finnrick tests. An independent review also couldn't identify the lab.

Both remain on our overall rankings because they meet the basic filters of operating, no FDA letter and public COAs. They don't pass the stricter third-party test on this page.

What independent data shows overall

Look at the Finnrick numbers side by side and one thing stands out. None of these vendors has a clean independent record. The best result among them is 12 of 16 samples passing. Finnrick's bar is strict (99.5%+ purity, dose within ±35%), so some "fails" are near misses. Even so, every vendor with meaningful data has at least one compound that performed poorly.

Two practical conclusions:

1. A vendor's own COA shows its best-case sample. Independent data shows the typical case. When they disagree, weight the independent data.
2. Sample counts matter. Three tests on one compound doesn't establish a pattern. Look for 10+ tests and recent dates before drawing conclusions.

Testing evidence at a glance

Where the well-known names went

Many of the vendors that were widely cited for testing a year ago are gone or were flagged by FDA. Peptide Sciences shut down on March 6, 2026. Swiss Chems and PureRawz received FDA warning letters. Peptide Partners, which the PepPal directory described as having the "deepest Finnrick footprint," received an FDA warning letter dated August 24, 2026.
