Swiss Chems is a long-running, operating vendor with a public test-results page, but it has the weakest regulatory record on our list. FDA sent it a warning letter on December 10, 2024, and Finnrick rates it 48% on 10 independent tests. Its overall score is 6.5/10; on our transparency method alone it scores 7.2/10 and sits at #6 in our editors' order.
Notice: Swiss Chems' products are sold for laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved and not for human or animal consumption. This review covers supplier transparency only. We didn't buy or test any products.
Swiss Chems at a glance
- Operating status: Live storefront at swisschems.is, checked September 26, 2026.
- Location: Despite the name and the .is domain, its about page says "Est. 2018 — USA." FDA's letter was addressed to a New York, NY address. The site itself publishes no street address or legal entity.
- Catalog: peptides, SARMs, nootropics, bioregulators, powders and bundles. The peptides category showed 48 products, including capsule forms (peptides).
- FDA record: Warning letter dated December 10, 2024 (details below).
The FDA warning letter
FDA's letter to Swisschems said its semaglutide and retatrutide products were unapproved new drugs. It quoted product-page language such as "a promising anti-obesity agent." FDA said the website and social media showed the products were intended for human use, despite "research chemicals only" labeling. We found no close-out letter.
When we searched the store on September 26, 2026, no retatrutide, semaglutide or tirzepatide products came up. That suggests the named products were removed. The letter stays on the public record, so it gets the floor score (5.0 of 10) on our regulatory factor. For context, see FDA peptide regulation in 2026.
Swiss Chems COA: what's published
The independent test results page showed 60 entries when we checked. Many were dated September 12-13, 2026, and batch codes appear in the file names (for example, NAD+ 100mg, lot 2608-CY-NA).
Two gaps:
- No lab name on the results page. The FAQ says testing is done by accredited labs, "principally Janoshik Analytical," but the entries don't say which lab tested which batch. If a report is from Janoshik, you can check it with Janoshik's verify tool.
- Record-keeping issues reported by third parties. One audit found some capsule COAs filed under the wrong product (VialAudit). Another review says some COAs may repeat across batches (PeptideDeck). We didn't verify either finding ourselves.
Independent testing
Swiss Chems is the only vendor of our eight with Finnrick data. Its Finnrick page (checked September 26, 2026) shows:
| Product tested | Finnrick rating | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Ipamorelin | 65% | Mixed; later tests failed |
| BPC-157 | 52% | 2 of 3 passed, latest April 2026 |
| CJC-1295 | 24% | Repeated purity misses and underfills |
| Overall | 48% (#341 of 345) | 4 of 10 passed |
The tests run from April 1, 2025 to April 28, 2026, and the most recent one passed. Ten tests is still a small sample, but it's more than the other seven vendors have (none). See Janoshik vs Finnrick.
Labeling
The current FAQ says the company can't discuss "use, dosing, administration, or outcomes." The terms require buyers to be 21+. We saw no dosing content on the pages we reviewed. But FDA has already found its past marketing showed intended human use. The catalog also includes capsule forms and SARMs, which fall outside our coverage.
Pricing and coupon code
Prices vary widely by size and form. Free shipping starts at $100 for US orders and $300 for international ones. The site offers a 10% sign-up discount. Coupon aggregator sites list many codes, but we found none we could verify, so we don't list one.
Shipping, payment and returns
- Shipping: Same-day dispatch on US orders paid before 12pm EST. US options include USPS (3-7 business days) and FedEx overnight or 2-day. International standard shipping takes 2-3 weeks. The site doesn't state a ship-from location (shipping).
- Seizures: If customs seizes a package, there's no refund or reship, only a 30% discount on a future order.
- Payment: Mastercard (the FAQ says charges appear as "OPTIMUS DATA"), ACH, Zelle and crypto through third-party processors.
- Returns: Sealed items can be returned within 7 business days, with a 15% restocking fee and a $25 refund processing fee (FAQ).
Is Swiss Chems legit?
Swiss Chems appears to be an operating vendor, with the longest history on our list (established 2018, per its site) and 60 batch reports on its results page as of September 26, 2026. But FDA sent it a warning letter in December 2024, and Finnrick passed only 4 of its 10 independent tests.
Our scam check, as of September 26, 2026:
| Check | Result |

| Independent tests (Finnrick) | 48% (#341 of 345), 4 of 10 tests passed (Finnrick) |
| FDA warning letter | Yes, December 10, 2024 (FDA) |

| Reddit discussion | Little discussion found in a site:reddit.com search (September 26, 2026); a 2026 review summarizes Reddit feedback as mixed (PeptideDeck) |
These checks cover disclosure and public records only. They don't test what's in the vial, which is why we weight independent testing in our score.

Swiss Chems reviews and complaints: Trustpilot and Reddit
Trustpilot blocked our automated check, so we don't quote a score. A directory reports mixed ratings across several Swiss Chems-like domains (PepPal). A 2026 review summarizes Reddit feedback as mixed: some long-time users report no issues, and others complain about shipping delays and slow support (PeptideDeck). We didn't verify individual Reddit threads.

Alternatives
- Peptide Plugs (7.5/10): Freedom Diagnostics COAs with accession codes you can check at the lab.
- NextGenPeps (8.8/10): names its labs on each COA and has no FDA letter.
- American Peptides (9.1/10): lot-number COA lookup and no FDA letter.
- Alpha Pro Peptides (6.3/10): lot ID and net content on each certificate.
- Ascension Peptides (8.1/10): an 85-record COA library searchable by lot; lab named only by independent reviewers.
- PSPeptides (8.5/10): no FDA letter, but dosing guides on its blog. See Swiss Chems vs PSPeptides.
Verdict
Swiss Chems scores 6.5/10. It has a longer history and more independent data than anyone else on our list. But the data is weak (4 of 10 passed), and the FDA letter is a serious mark. If you consider it, match your batch code to a dated report and confirm any Janoshik report at the lab.
