All seven vendors we compared in September list GHK-Cu vials for laboratory research, and Peptide Plugs documents its testing best: the product page gives a lot number, a Freedom Diagnostics accession code, purity and measured content. Alpha Pro Peptides, PSPeptides, Ascension Peptides and NextGenPeps also post GHK-Cu certificates that name the lab. American Peptides and Swiss Chems post reports but don't show the lab on the page.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
Our criterion: a GHK-Cu-specific COA with a named lab and a lot number beats a general "third-party tested" claim. Several vendors also sell GHK-Cu as sprays, capsules, tablets or serums. This page covers lyophilized vials only.
Regulatory status of GHK-Cu
- FDA: GHK-Cu isn't an approved drug. FDA's Category 2 compounding page (updated April 22, 2026) lists "GHK-Cu (for injectable routes of administration)" among nominations "withdrawn by the nominators." HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s February 27, 2026 announcement named GHK-Cu among peptides expected to leave Category 2 (Pharmacy Times).
- July 2026 advisory meeting: GHK-Cu wasn't among the seven peptides the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviewed (NCPA). Compounding decisions apply to licensed pharmacies, not research-use sales.
- WADA: GHK-Cu doesn't appear by name on the 2026 Prohibited List (2026 list text). S0 covers pharmacological substances not addressed elsewhere that lack government approval for human therapeutic use.
- DEA: not on DEA's controlled substances list dated August 27, 2026.

Notes on the table:
- American Peptides: the GHK-Cu page lists 50 mg at $50; a daily automatic discount showed $37.50 when we checked. We couldn't confirm the 100 mg price.
- NextGenPeps: the 50 mg price ($41) is from its category page, and the 100 mg sale price ($59) from the product page. Confirm the size you select at checkout.
- PSPeptides: the 100 mg certificate reports 99.94% purity and 98.87 mg measured. The standalone vial is sold as "GHK-CU (1 Vial)"; the shop also has blends, sprays and a serum.
- Ascension Peptides: both listings are 100 mg; the difference is vial volume. The 3 mL page names Kovera Labs (checked September 26, 2026).
- Peptide Plugs: the 100 mg page reports 99.83% purity and 116.79 mg measured, 16.8% over label. Lower advertised prices are for 10 or more vials.
- Swiss Chems: the product page shows one HPLC report. Finnrick has no GHK-Cu tests for it.
- Alpha Pro Peptides: the 50 mg certificate is from Freedom Diagnostics: 99.69% purity, 48.08 mg net content.
- Licensed Peptides (added to our list September 28, 2026; not in the table): lists GHK-Cu at $61.99 a vial (shop, checked September 28, 2026). We didn't confirm a GHK-Cu-specific report. Review
What is GHK-Cu?
GHK is "a small, naturally occurring tri-peptide present in human plasma" (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) with a high affinity for copper, forming the GHK-Cu complex, according to a 2018 review in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. Research areas covered in that review include skin and wound-healing models and gene-expression studies. It's a narrative review, not a clinical trial.
How to check a GHK-Cu COA
- Match the lot on the certificate to the label on your vial.
- Confirm the lab on the PDF and verify with it where possible.
- Check the copper complex is identified. Mass spectrometry should confirm GHK, and the certificate should name GHK-Cu, not just "GHK."
- Compare measured mg to the label. With 50-100 mg vials, overfills and underfills change concentration math.
Use our COA reading guide, the COA checklist and the reconstitution calculator.
Independent test data
None of the seven vendors we compared had independent Finnrick results for GHK-Cu on September 26, 2026. Licensed Peptides, which we added on September 28, 2026, has no Finnrick profile. Finnrick has ten tests for Swiss Chems, none of them GHK-Cu, and the other six vendors we compared have no Finnrick tests. Every certificate above was commissioned by the vendor, which chooses the sample it sends. Lot matching and lab-side verification are the checks that remain, which is why we weight them heavily. GHK-Cu is also the largest part of the GLOW and KLOW blends; see GLOW and KLOW blend vendors for prices and blend COAs.
Bottom line
Peptide Plugs pairs the best GHK-Cu documentation with the lowest price per mg we found. Alpha Pro Peptides, PSPeptides, Ascension Peptides and NextGenPeps all name their labs, too. American Peptides and Swiss Chems post reports without naming the lab on the page. For the wider comparison, see best peptide vendors in the USA and cheapest peptide vendors.
