Six of the seven vendors we compared in September sell standalone CJC-1295 for laboratory research, and none stands clearly ahead on documentation. PSPeptides and Ascension Peptides post no-DAC certificates that name the lab and the batch, and Alpha Pro Peptides posts a lot-matched no-DAC certificate. Peptide Plugs sells CJC-1295 only in a blend with ipamorelin. Swiss Chems is the only vendor with independent data, and all three of its CJC-1295 samples on Finnrick failed.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
Our criterion: a CJC-1295-specific COA with a named lab and a lot number beats a generic "third-party tested" claim. For this compound there's an extra check: the certificate must match the version you bought, with DAC or without DAC.
Regulatory status of CJC-1295
- FDA: CJC-1295 isn't an approved drug. FDA's Category 2 compounding page (updated April 22, 2026) lists it among nominations "withdrawn by the nominators." HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s February 27, 2026 announcement named CJC-1295 among peptides expected to leave Category 2 (Pharmacy Times).
- Compounding review: CJC-1295 wasn't among the seven peptides FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviewed in July 2026 (NCPA). Compounding rules cover licensed pharmacies, not research-use sales.
- WADA: the 2026 Prohibited List names CJC-1295 as an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone under S2.2.4, prohibited at all times (2026 list text).
- DEA: not on DEA's controlled substances list dated August 27, 2026.

Notes on the table:
- American Peptides: sells CJC-1295 (No DAC) as a 10 mg vial, plus blends. Its COA page has a lot-matched certificate without a named lab.
- NextGenPeps: its COA library has entries for both versions, each naming the lab.
- PSPeptides: the no-DAC page shows a $35.99-$59.99 range across 5 and 10 mg, and we couldn't confirm which price goes with which size. The no-DAC certificate reports 99.94% purity and 4.94 mg measured. Its certifications page also lists a June 2026 with-DAC COA, which we didn't open.
- Ascension Peptides: the 5 mg page lists Kovera Labs and two MZ Biolabs batches (checked September 26, 2026). We didn't find a with-DAC product.
- Peptide Plugs: the blend page contains 5 mg CJC-1295 no DAC and 5 mg ipamorelin, with a certificate reporting 99.94% purity and 10.07 mg total.
- Swiss Chems: its store data showed both 2 mg vials in stock, but the no-DAC product page showed an out-of-stock notice, so check before ordering. Finnrick rates its CJC-1295 24%: three tests in April and May 2025 (one no DAC, two with DAC), all failed.
- Alpha Pro Peptides: its testing page lists the no-DAC 10 mg lot at 99.73% purity and 9.68 mg. We couldn't open that PDF to confirm the lab.
- Licensed Peptides (added to our list September 28, 2026; not in the table): lists CJC-1295 without DAC from $38.99; full prices need a free account (shop, checked September 28, 2026). We didn't confirm a CJC-1295 report or whether it sells a DAC version. Review
What is CJC-1295?
CJC-1295 was introduced in a 2005 Endocrinology paper as "a tetrasubstituted form of hGRF1–29," a 29-amino-acid fragment of growth hormone-releasing factor, with an added reactive maleimido group on a C-terminal lysine. That group lets it bind to serum albumin. The paper studied it in rats. This albumin-binding version is what vendors call "with DAC."
"No DAC" products lack the reactive group. PSPeptides, for example, sells it as "CJC-1295 No DAC (Modified GRF 1-29)." Because the two are different molecules, a certificate for one doesn't document the other.
How to check a CJC-1295 COA
- Confirm the version. The certificate should say "with DAC" or "no DAC" (or Mod GRF 1-29) and match your vial.
- Match the lot on the certificate to your label.
- Find the lab name on the PDF and verify with the lab where possible.
- For blends, check that each peptide is identified and quantified separately.

Independent test data
Swiss Chems is the only vendor of the seven we compared with independent CJC-1295 data, and it's the weakest result on any of our compound pages. Licensed Peptides, which we added on September 28, 2026, has no Finnrick profile. Finnrick lists three CJC-1295 tests, all failed, for a 24% compound rating. The other six vendors we compared had no Finnrick results on September 26, 2026, so their certificates are all vendor-commissioned. Vendors choose the sample they send, which is why lot matching and lab verification matter. More on how community testing works: what is Finnrick?

Bottom line
For standalone no-DAC CJC-1295, PSPeptides and Ascension Peptides have the most complete certificates, with Alpha Pro Peptides close behind. For with-DAC versions, only NextGenPeps showed a recent certificate naming the lab. Swiss Chems' independent record for this compound is poor.
