Soma Chems has stopped selling: between October 10 and October 12, 2026, somachems.com replaced its store with a notice saying it is no longer accepting new orders, and that notice was still up when we checked on October 21, 2026. It published no reason. If you bought from Soma Chems, the five vendors below publish lot-matched certificates from named labs.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. It contains no dosing or use guidance.
What happened to Soma Chems
Soma Chems sold research compounds from somachems.com, a WordPress/WooCommerce store. Here's the timeline we could confirm from the site itself and the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine:
- July-August 2025: store appears. The Wayback Machine's first capture of somachems.com is from July 13, 2025. By August 8, 2025 it was a working store selling peptides, sprays and liquids.
- April 7, 2026: still trading. The homepage listed best sellers and new additions. Its terms of service said it took payment by Zelle and Venmo, shipped only within the US, and gave a mailing address in New Castle, Delaware.
- October 2, 2026: normal prices. A product page showed an item in stock at its usual price.
- October 10, 2026: store-wide markdown. The shop page listed 115 products, and all but one were marked "Sale!" at about 60% off (for example, $39.99 cut to $16.00).
- October 12, 2026: closure notice. The homepage read "Our store is no longer accepting new orders," followed by a thank-you and links to manage orders or send a message.
- October 21, 2026: still closed. When we loaded somachems.com, it showed the same notice, and the shop page redirected back to it.
The notice doesn't give a reason or say whether the closure is permanent. We searched FDA's warning letter database for "somachems" and "soma" on October 21, 2026 and found no letter naming it. We also found no Justice Department press release or federal court record naming Soma Chems. We don't know why it closed, and we won't guess.
What Soma Chems sold
Per its archived pages, the catalog went well beyond peptides:
| Category | Examples from archived listings |
|---|
| Peptides (lyophilized vials) | BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, tesamorelin, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, SS-31, KPV, epithalon, Khavinson bioregulators |
| GLP-1-class products | Products labeled "GLP1 S", "GLP2 T" and "GLP3 R", plus cagrilintide blends |
| Nasal sprays | Semax, selank, PT-141, oxytocin, BPC-157 and NAD+ sprays |
| Liquids (SARMs and others) | MK-677, RAD-140, LGD-4033, ostarine, GW-501516 |
| Drugs and other products | Clomid, Nolva, enclomiphene, HCG, HMG, metformin capsules, RU-58841, methylene blue |
Its homepage claimed ≥99% purity and said products were "rigorously tested for quality and sterility". The archived pages we read didn't name a testing lab. Its terms listed Zelle and Venmo as the only payment methods and said all sales were final.
Soma Chems and Amino Asylum
Amino Asylum went offline in June 2025, and somachems.com first shows up in the archive a few weeks later. Promoters on TikTok and Threads described Soma Chems as Amino Asylum's return. We couldn't confirm that. Soma Chems' own archived pages we read don't say it, Amino Asylum's domain didn't redirect to Soma Chems in the archive, and we found no business or court record linking the two. Our Amino Asylum page covers that closure separately.
If you were a Soma Chems customer
- Open orders: the closure notice links to "Manage Orders" and a contact form. That's the only channel the site offers.
- Watch for lookalikes. Closures bring copycat sites and "restock" offers on Telegram and Discord. Anything selling under the Soma Chems name now isn't the store that closed.
- Don't lean on old certificates. Soma Chems didn't name a lab on the pages we read, and nothing it published can vouch for products sold under its name now.
- Vet the replacement. Look for a named lab, a certificate tied to your lot and a published business identity. Our COA guide, COA checklist and endotoxin testing guide cover what to check.
- Check outside data. Finnrick publishes results from samples buyers submit, which is an independent check on a vendor's own certificates.
Alternatives with lot-matched COAs
These five vendors were live when we checked them on October 19-21, 2026. Each names its testing labs, matches certificates to lots, lists endotoxin testing, and carries no red flag in our directory. They sell research peptides; we don't recommend sources for SARMs or prescription drugs.
| Vendor | Labs named | Endotoxin | Finnrick tests | Published business |
|---|
| Elite Research USA | Freedom Diagnostics | Yes | 51 (latest Oct 6, 2026) | Elite Research Labs LLC |
| SaiyanMed | Janoshik | Yes | 48 (latest Sep 24, 2026) | Not published |
| Prime Peptides | Janoshik, Freedom Diagnostics, Bioviridian, Horizon Analytical | Yes | 19 | Prime Vitality, Inc., Santa Barbara, CA |
| Glacier Aminos | Freedom Diagnostics, Kovera, Ethos Analytic, ILS Lab | Yes | 7 (latest Oct 14, 2026) | Glacier Aminos LLC, Fort Collins, CO |
| Peptide Plugs | Janoshik, Freedom Diagnostics | Yes | None yet | Liberty Hill, TX |
Compare current prices in the price index before you order; prices change often.
Bottom line
Soma Chems isn't taking orders, and it hasn't said why or whether it will return. We found no FDA or court action naming it as of October 21, 2026. If you're replacing it, choose on what you can verify: a named lab, a certificate for your lot and a published business. See all vendors we track and best peptide vendors in the USA.
