Six of the ten vendors we rate list pinealon, and Peptide Plugs documents its testing best: its product page gives a Freedom Diagnostics lot with purity, measured content and a five-test safety panel. NextGenPeps names Bioviridian with an endotoxin result but shows no lot, and American Peptides and Swiss Chems have the lowest prices per mg among the six ($3.00 and $2.90). Pinealon isn't on any FDA list, and no vendor has independent Finnrick data for it.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
Our criterion: a pinealon-specific COA with a named lab and lot number beats a generic "third-party tested" claim. We don't test products; we check what each vendor publishes.
Regulatory status of pinealon
- FDA: pinealon isn't an approved drug. It doesn't appear on FDA's Category 2 compounding page (content current as of April 22, 2026) or the 503A categories list updated May 14, 2026, and we found no nomination for it.
- Advisory votes and enforcement: pinealon wasn't on the July 2026 Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee agenda. The related Epitalon was, and was recommended (RAPS). We found no FDA warning letter naming pinealon as of October 20, 2026.
- WADA: the 2026 Prohibited List doesn't name pinealon (2026 list text). Its S0 section prohibits substances "with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use." WADA hasn't ruled on pinealon specifically.
- DEA: we found no federal scheduling action for pinealon as of October 20, 2026 (see DEA's controlled substances list, August 2026 edition).

PSPeptides, Blank Peptides, Peptide Confidential and Alpha Pro Peptides didn't list pinealon on October 20, 2026.
Notes on the table:
- American Peptides: the product page describes a Glu-Asp-Arg tripeptide in one 20 mg size and links a certificate PDF. Its COA page lists lot PINE20-0803 and a superseded lot PINE20-0318, with no lab or purity in the text we read.
- NextGenPeps: its COA library lists a Bioviridian report dated September 25, 2026 at 99.54%, with endotoxin under 0.05 EU/ml. No lot is shown. The product page offers volume pricing down to $62.05 a vial at 20 vials.
- Ascension Peptides: the product page lists a Kovera Labs batch, but its number, test date and PDF weren't in the text we captured, and no purity is shown. The $50 price is marked down from $89.99.
- Peptide Plugs: the product page reports 99.20% purity and 11.47 mg measured, 14.7% over the 10 mg label, with identity, sterility, microbial and endotoxin among five tests (certificate). Its batch history keeps a May 20, 2026 lot at 99.41% and 11.24 mg.
- Swiss Chems: the product page (SKU BR-PNLN-20) says a COA is available per batch, but the text we read showed no pinealon report. It's the cheapest per mg in this table.
- Licensed Peptides: the product page showed $76.99, down from $85.55, and links a report PDF coded V260309-11. The same code appears on its DSIP report, so it may be a testing batch rather than a product lot. At $7.70/mg it matches the top of our index range.
Cheapest pinealon across all 43 vendors we track
As of October 20, 2026, 43 vendors in our pinealon price index list it (48 listings counting multi-vial kits). Per-mg figures below use in-stock single vials only.
- Cheapest per mg overall: Peptide Crafters, 25 mg for $55 ($2.20/mg).
- Cheapest among vendors that pass our checks (no red flags, COAs published, lot-matched or named lab; 26 vendors): Amino USA, 20 mg for $47.50 ($2.38/mg), then Tydes, 28 mg for $74.99 ($2.68/mg), and Verified Peptides, 20 mg for $55 ($2.75/mg). Swiss Chems ($2.90/mg) and American Peptides ($3.00/mg) are next.
- Median: $3.50/mg, with a range of $2.20 to $7.70. Swiss Chems and American Peptides are below the median; the 10 mg vials from the other four vendors we rate are above it.
- Sizes: 20 mg is the most common vial (27 listings), then 10 mg (15); 5, 10.37, 15, 25 and 28 mg vials also appear.
- Red flags: NuScience Peptides ($2.75/mg) and Peptide Partners list pinealon and received FDA warning letters dated August 24, 2026.

What is pinealon?
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide, L-Glu-L-Asp-L-Arg ("EDR"), from the short-peptide "bioregulator" work of V. Khavinson's group in St. Petersburg. Published studies are almost entirely from that group and are in vitro or in animals, such as work on cell viability and free radicals, serotonin expression in cortex cells and prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia in rat offspring. There is little independent replication and no Western randomized trial.
How to check a pinealon COA
- Confirm it's pinealon, not Epitalon. Pinealon is a tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) with a molecular weight of about 418 g/mol; Epitalon is a tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). The mass-spec result should match the three-residue molecule.
- Match the lot on the certificate to your vial label, and check that the PDF's lot matches the vendor's listing.
- Read the lab name on each PDF, then look it up. Peptide Plugs gives a Freedom Diagnostics accession code; several others don't name a lab in the page text.
- Compare measured content to the label. Peptide Plugs' two 10 mg lots measured 11.24 mg and 11.47 mg, which changes concentration math. Oral "Pinealon" capsules sold as bioregulator supplements are a different product from lyophilized research vials.

Independent test data
Finnrick's pinealon page showed no published tests on October 20, 2026 ("No published Pinealon tests yet"). Finnrick offers a paid pinealon test for $149. Every certificate above was commissioned by the vendor, which chooses the sample it sends. More on community testing: what is Finnrick?

Bottom line
For pinealon, Peptide Plugs has the most checkable documentation at $4.00/mg. NextGenPeps names its lab and reports endotoxin but shows no lot and charges nearly twice as much per mg. American Peptides and Swiss Chems sell 20 mg vials below the median price, but American shows a lot without a lab and Swiss Chems shows no pinealon report. Ascension names a lab without a batch in the text we read, and Licensed Peptides is the most expensive. For the full comparison, see best peptide vendors in the USA and third-party tested peptides.
