Krause Analytical is a small Austin, Texas contract lab that tests research peptides by HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS and is the partner lab behind most of Finnrick's published results; its site doesn't claim ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation as of October 21, 2026. One vendor in our directory cites it.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. It contains no dosing or use guidance.

Who runs Krause Analytical
The about page describes a "small, minority-owned contract research and testing laboratory" and names Mark Krause as principal scientist. Finnrick's Krause page says the principal chemist has more than 45 years of analytical chemistry experience.
Peptides are one line of work among several. The homepage also lists corn and grain testing, FDA import detention testing, synthetic color testing and BPA testing. The services page says its peptide work covers "commonly used peptides in the marketplace," with a focus on GLP-1 formulations for compounders.
What it tests
The peptides page says routine analysis of known peptides covers "purity, potency and identity" by HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS. Add-ons listed:
- Endotoxins (LAL), per USP <85>
- Heavy metals, per USP <232>/<233> and FDA's four critical elements
- Residual solvents, per USP <467>
- Sterility, a 14-day test per USP <71>
- A benzyl alcohol package test
Blends can be tested only if every component is on its list. The capabilities page lists LC-MS/MS (triple quadrupole), ICP-MS, GC-MS, FTIR and UV-visible spectroscopy among its instruments.
Accreditation
Krause's site doesn't claim ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation or name an accrediting body, and we couldn't find a published certificate as of October 21, 2026. Finnrick's page doesn't list one either. You can check the A2LA, ANAB and PJLA directories.
Pricing and turnaround
Krause doesn't post prices or turnaround times on its own site. Through Finnrick's ordering page, Krause identity, purity and quantity tests started at $69 per sample for custom orders as of October 21, 2026, with endotoxin, heavy metals and residual solvents as add-ons. Those are Finnrick's prices, not a Krause price list.
The Finnrick-commissioned report we read was received May 28, 2026 and issued June 12, 2026, with peptide analysis, endotoxin and metals run on separate dates.
Krause and Finnrick
As of October 21, 2026, Finnrick's Krause page showed:
- 7,493 published tests across 32 peptides from 439 vendors
- First test April 24, 2025; latest October 15, 2026
- A 70% pass rate on the most recent 200 tests under Finnrick's Purity Focus standard
That pass rate reflects the vendor samples tested, not Krause's accuracy. Finnrick says samples are anonymized before reaching the lab and that it reviews lab performance with overlapping results and anchor samples. See what is Finnrick and Janoshik vs Finnrick.
How to verify a Krause Analytical report
- Check the header. A Krause report commissioned through Finnrick reads "Finnrick.com Lab #" plus a number, carries a Krause Analytical LLC copyright line and the Mesa Drive address, and is signed by the laboratory director.
- Use Krause's CoA verification form. The page says you can "Verify your vendors Certificate of Analysis" through an online form. It doesn't list the fields, so include the lab number and sample details.
- For Finnrick-commissioned reports, also look up the vendor and product on Finnrick.
- Compare compound, lot, dates and results with the vendor's copy.
The report we checked didn't carry a separate verification code or QR code, so the form or Finnrick is the way to confirm it. Our COA checklist has the full list.
Vendors in our directory that cite Krause Analytical
From our vendor data as of October 21, 2026. "Lot-matched" and "Endotoxin" describe the vendor's COA program overall.
| Vendor | Lot-matched COAs | Endotoxin data | COA page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nextday Peptides | Yes | Not confirmed | COAs |
Nextday's COA page listed Krause reports for products including GHK-Cu and tirzepatide on October 21, 2026. The page says its COAs come from manufacturing vendors and their contracted labs. The Krause report we opened, for GHK-Cu 50 mg, was a Finnrick-commissioned test.
What a Krause Analytical COA does and doesn't prove
What it can show:
- The purity, identity and quantity of the sample Krause received, by HPLC-UV with MS, plus endotoxin or metals if listed.
- If Finnrick commissioned it, that the sample was anonymized before it reached the lab.
What it can't show:
- That your vial matches. Only a matching lot ties a report to your batch.
- How the sample was sourced. A Finnrick report on a vendor's page tells you Finnrick ordered the test, not who bought the vial or how it was stored.
- Accredited quality, since no accreditation is stated.
- Sterility or endotoxin, unless those results are on the report (endotoxin guide).
