Harrens Lab is an established Hayward, California testing lab with A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation whose peptide results began appearing on Finnrick in September 2026; we couldn't confirm whether its accredited scope covers peptide methods. One vendor in our directory cites it.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. It contains no dosing or use guidance.

Who Harrens Lab is
Harrens' homepage describes a broad testing business: food and supplement potency, microbiology and nutrition facts; hemp and cannabis testing compliant with "DCC, CDFA, USDA, and FDA regulations"; soil and plant nutrients; psychedelic mushrooms; and FDA import detention work. Peptide testing appears in an "other testing" group.
The Harrens peptide COA we read was signed by the lab's laboratory director, who holds a PhD. The company appears as Harrens Lab Inc. on that report and in California's hemp lab list.
Accreditation
This is where Harrens differs from most labs on peptide COAs.
- Its homepage calls it an "ISO 17025 accredited laboratory."
- Its accreditation page shows "A2LA Chemical Testing Accreditation" and "A2LA Biological Testing Accreditation." The certificate images there didn't include readable numbers or scope.
- The California Department of Food and Agriculture's public list of hemp testing labs, current as of July 17, 2026, lists Harrens Lab Inc. with A2LA certificate 4074.02, expiring September 30, 2026.
Two caveats. First, that list predates the expiry date, and we couldn't confirm a renewal as of October 21, 2026. Second, ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation covers specific methods on a scope document. The state list relates to hemp testing, and we couldn't see whether peptide HPLC is on Harrens' scope. A COA saying "17025 Accredited Laboratory" doesn't by itself mean that particular peptide test was accredited. To check, search Harrens in the A2LA directory and read the scope attached to certificate 4074.
Finnrick's Harrens page also describes it as ISO/IEC 17025-accredited and DEA-registered. We couldn't verify the DEA registration from a primary source.
What it tests for peptides
According to Finnrick's lab page, Harrens quantifies peptides mainly by HPLC-UV against a reference standard, may use mass spectrometry to confirm identity and impurities but not quantity, and states a typical quantification uncertainty of about ±3%. The COA we read lists "Reversed-Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-HPLC) with external standard calibration."
Harrens' own site lists peptide purity, endotoxin and residual solvent testing but doesn't detail methods.
Pricing and turnaround
Harrens doesn't publish peptide prices. Its homepage mentions "highly competitive pricing and a price match program" and "industry-leading turnaround times" without figures. Through Finnrick's ordering page as of October 21, 2026, Harrens identity, purity and quantity tests started at $69 per sample for custom orders, with add-ons for endotoxin, heavy metals, residual solvents and sterility. Those are Finnrick's prices.
The BPC-157 report we read was entered September 18, 2026, analyzed September 23 and reported September 24.
Harrens and Finnrick
As of October 21, 2026, Finnrick's page showed 150 published Harrens tests from 88 vendors, dated September 15 to October 9, 2026, and a 67% pass rate under its Purity Focus standard. That rate describes the vendor samples, not the lab. Harrens is a recent addition. See what is Finnrick.
How to verify a Harrens Lab report
- Find the report number (formatted like "IN2026090181") and sample ID on the COA.
- Harrens has no public lookup as of October 21, 2026. Email or call the lab via its contact page and ask it to confirm the report.
- If the COA lists Finnrick as the client, also look up the vendor and product on Finnrick.
- Compare compound, batch, dates and results with the vendor's copy.
Our COA checklist covers the rest.
Vendors in our directory that cite Harrens Lab
From our vendor data as of October 21, 2026. "Lot-matched" and "Endotoxin" describe the vendor's COA program overall.
| Vendor | Lot-matched COAs | Endotoxin data | COA page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nextday Peptides | Yes | Not confirmed | COAs |
On October 21, 2026, Nextday's page listed one Harrens report, for BPC-157 10 mg, batch mm3hu27. It names Finnrick under client information.
What a Harrens Lab COA does and doesn't prove
What it can show:
- The RP-HPLC purity and quantity of the sample Harrens received.
- That it came from a lab whose quality system A2LA has accredited, subject to the scope and renewal caveats above.
What it can't show:
- That the peptide method itself was accredited. Accreditation is method-specific; check the scope.
- That your vial matches. Only a matching batch number ties the report to your vial.
- Endotoxin or sterility, unless listed on the report (endotoxin guide).
- Sample handling before the lab. Finnrick or vendor sourcing and storage aren't shown on the COA.
