BT Labs, which brands itself BTLabs, is a West Palm Beach, Florida contract lab that tests research peptides by HPLC and FTIR and has run nearly 3,000 of Finnrick's published tests; as of October 21, 2026 it doesn't claim ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation or offer a public report lookup.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. It contains no dosing or use guidance.
Which BT Labs this is
Don't confuse it with other businesses using similar names. The lab that signs peptide COAs is BTLabs at btlabtesting.com. We confirmed this from a BTLabs COA posted by Nextday Peptides, which prints the btlabtesting.com address, and from Finnrick's partner lab list, which links the same domain.

Who BTLabs is
The contact page gives the West Palm Beach address, a phone number and an info@ email. The site says "Copyright © 2026 BTLabs" and doesn't name a legal entity, owners or staff. Its services page carries the note "we are improving this website," so some pages are thin.
Finnrick's BTLabs page says the lab has a "pharmaceutical-testing heritage spanning more than 25 years." We couldn't confirm that from BTLabs' own site.
What it tests
The sample categories page lists "Peptides & Proteins" with:
- Purity by HPLC
- Secondary structure by FTIR, Raman and circular dichroism
- Similarity and stability (no method named)
The homepage says it handles "peptides and vitamins to nutraceuticals, beverages, cell culture media, raw ingredients and more."
The TB-500 COA we read (report COA261186-033, posted by Nextday Peptides) listed these methods:
| Test | Method cited |
|---|---|
| General appearance | USP <630> |
| Mass | USP <41> |
| FTIR identification and composition | USP <197A> |
| HPLC purity | USP <621> |
| HPLC potency | USP <621> |
| Peptide-to-excipients ratio | USP <1151> |
Finnrick's page adds that BTLabs quantifies mainly by HPLC-UV against a reference standard, uses mass spectrometry for identity and impurity confirmation, and states a typical uncertainty of ±2-3%. It calculates mg per vial as vial contents times the HPLC purity fraction.
Accreditation
BTLabs' site makes no ISO/IEC 17025 claim and names no accrediting body, and the COA we read had no accreditation statement. We couldn't find a published accreditation certificate for it as of October 21, 2026. Check the A2LA, ANAB and PJLA directories for any listing.
Pricing and turnaround
BTLabs' price list sits behind a form, and ordering runs through a client portal. The site advertises "Best Pricing — Guaranteed" and "Fast Turnaround" without figures.
Through Finnrick's ordering page as of October 21, 2026, BTLabs identity, purity and quantity tests started at $129 per sample for custom orders, and $258 with endotoxin. Those are Finnrick's prices. The TB-500 report we read was tested August 26, 2026 and dated August 28.
BTLabs and Finnrick
As of October 21, 2026, Finnrick showed 2,989 published BTLabs tests across 30 peptides from 348 vendors, dated July 22, 2025 to October 12, 2026, and a 77% pass rate on the latest 200 tests under its Purity Focus standard. That rate describes vendor samples, not lab accuracy. Only Krause Analytical had more published Finnrick tests. See what is Finnrick.
How to verify a BTLabs report
- Note the COA number (formatted like "COA261186-033") and the client name.
- If the client is Finnrick, use Finnrick's verification page; Finnrick's BTLabs page says COAs can be checked at finnrick.com/verify. Then look up the vendor and product on Finnrick.
- Otherwise, contact BTLabs through its contact form with the COA number.
- Compare compound, lot, dates and results with the vendor's copy.
The report we read had no verification code or QR code. Our COA checklist covers the other checks.
Vendors in our directory that cite BTLabs
One of the 144 vendors in our directory cites BTLabs as of October 21, 2026:
| Vendor | COAs lot-matched | Endotoxin tested | Review |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nextday Peptides | Yes | Not shown | Review |
When we checked Nextday Peptides' COA page on October 21, 2026, it listed six BTLabs reports, five for retatrutide lots and one for TB-500 lot 9P2EYD3. The TB-500 report names Finnrick as the client.
What a BTLabs COA does and doesn't prove
What it can show:
- Appearance, mass, FTIR identity and HPLC purity and potency for the sample BTLabs received.
- If Finnrick commissioned it, that the sample was anonymized before reaching the lab, per Finnrick.
What it can't show:
- That your vial matches. Only a matching lot ties a report to your batch.
- Accredited quality, since no accreditation is claimed.
- Endotoxin or sterility, unless those results appear (endotoxin guide).
- Mass-spec identity, unless MS data is on the report. FTIR and HPLC retention time are useful but different checks (HPLC purity explained).
