Alpha Pro Peptides

  • Pro: Testing page lists each COA with a lot ID, report date, purity and measured net content
  • Pro: The COA we opened was issued by Freedom Diagnostics, and an independent review matched 35 reports to lab-hosted copies
  • Pro: Strict research-use terms: buyers must be 21+ and attest to a research affiliation
  • Pro: US-only shipping with a published processing time and carrier list
  • Con: Very new: the domain was registered in February 2026, and we found no Finnrick profile or Trustpilot page
  • Con: Sells GLP-1-class products under codes (GLP-1, GLP-2, GLP-3) plus capsules, sprays and serums; its calculator uses insulin-syringe units
  • Con: No address or legal entity published; the lab isn't named on the site itself

Peptide Plugs

  • Pro: COA page lists 117 certificates across 62 products, each dated with purity and measured content
  • Pro: Names its lab, Freedom Diagnostics, on its site; product pages show a lot, an accession code and a link to the lab's own COA search
  • Pro: Publishes its legal entity and street address: Austin Research Products LLC, Liberty Hill, TX
  • Pro: No FDA warning letter found as of September 26, 2026
  • Con: Young domain (registered December 2025), and Finnrick lists no independent tests
  • Con: Shop categories are named 'Weight Loss', 'Anti-Aging' and 'Sleep', and a GLP-1-class blend is sold under a code ('GLP3 + Elora')
  • Con: The main COA page shows no lot numbers, and we found no Trustpilot page or public affiliate program

Peptide Plugs scores higher than Alpha Pro Peptides on our transparency method (8.1 vs 7.5). Both vendors' certificates come from the same lab, Freedom Diagnostics, so the difference is how much each one lets you check. Peptide Plugs names the lab on its own site, gives accession codes you can look up at the lab, and publishes its legal entity and street address. Alpha Pro shows lot ID, purity and net content in one table, but doesn't name the lab on its site or publish an address. Neither has independent test data. Peptide Plugs is #5 and Alpha Pro #8 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.

Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

Same lab, different disclosure

Peptide Plugs' COA page lists 117 certificates across 62 products, each labeled "Freedom," with test date, purity and measured content. Product pages add a lot and an accession code linked to Freedom Diagnostics' COA search. Its BPC-157 20 mg page shows 99.56% purity and 20.86 mg measured. You can check the report on the lab's site yourself. The gap: the main COA page doesn't show lot numbers.

Alpha Pro's testing page puts product, lot ID, report date, purity and net content in one row per certificate, which makes matching a vial easy. Its BPC-157 10 mg certificate is from Freedom Diagnostics (lot AP-BPC10-0426, May 18, 2026): 99.24% purity, 12.99 mg net content. The site itself only says "certified third-party labs." A PeptideBenchmark review, which discloses an affiliate relationship with Alpha Pro, matched 35 reports to lab-hosted copies. It also found a 50mg product page reusing a 30mg certificate.

Neither vendor showed sterility or endotoxin reports in our reviews, and we found no accreditation listed for Freedom Diagnostics. Peptide Plugs leads on COA publication (9.25 vs 8.75) and lab traceability (9.0 vs 8.25). See our COA guide and purity vs net content.

Independent testing: a tie at zero

Finnrick tracks Peptide Plugs but shows 0 tests. We found no Finnrick profile for Alpha Pro. Both get the floor score (5.0). Peptide Plugs offers $100 store credit for verified COAs submitted from Freedom Diagnostics, Finnrick or Janoshik, but we found no published results. See what is Finnrick?

Labeling

Both have strict terms and a 21+ requirement, and both lose points for similar reasons.

  • Peptide Plugs says it makes "no health, dosing, or therapeutic claims of any kind," but organizes its shop into categories such as "Weight Loss," "Anti-Aging" and "Sleep," sells a coded blend called "GLP3 + Elora," and lists tablets of some compounds.
  • Alpha Pro requires buyers to represent a research affiliation, but sells GLP-1, GLP-2 and GLP-3 under codes, plus capsules, sprays and topical serums, and its reconstitution calculator uses insulin-syringe settings.

Peptide Plugs scores slightly higher on our transparency method (7.5 vs 7.0). We cover GLP-1-class products for research use only, with no dosing content. Background: FDA peptide regulation in 2026.

Business details, shipping and payment

This is Peptide Plugs' clearest lead (9.5 vs 7.0). It publishes Austin Research Products LLC, 126 Holmes Rd #8, Liberty Hill, TX, with Texas-law terms. Alpha Pro publishes no entity or address; its terms are governed by Florida law.

  • Peptide Plugs ships by UPS within 1-2 business days per its policy, free over $200, US only. It takes credit cards but doesn't list networks in text.
  • Alpha Pro says orders before 2pm EST ship the same business day (FAQ), though its policy says 24-72 business hours. It ships by USPS, FedEx or UPS, free over $199, US only. It takes major cards except Mastercard, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.
