NextGenPeps scores higher than Alpha Pro Peptides on our transparency method (8.0 vs 7.5). It names its labs, Janoshik and BioRegen, on every entry in its own COA library, publishes its legal entity and street address, and takes fewer labeling deductions. Alpha Pro Peptides has the more detailed COA table, with a lot ID and measured net content for every certificate, and it had the lower TB-500 price when we checked. Neither has independent test data as of September 26, 2026. NextGenPeps is #2 and Alpha Pro #8 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

COAs: lot detail vs named labs
The two vendors trade strengths here.
Alpha Pro Peptides' testing page is a table with one row per certificate: product, lot ID, report date, purity and measured net content. That makes lot matching simple, and net content shows how much compound the vial actually held. The certificate we opened came from Freedom Diagnostics, but the site itself doesn't name the lab. A PeptideBenchmark review, which discloses an affiliate relationship with Alpha Pro, matched 35 reports to lab-hosted copies. It also found a 50mg product page reusing a 30mg certificate, and no sterility or endotoxin reports.
NextGenPeps' COA library had about 49 entries, roughly three-quarters from BioRegen and the rest from Janoshik, dated July 2025 to June 2026. Each entry names the lab and shows purity, and some show an endotoxin result, which Alpha Pro doesn't publish. The library doesn't show lot numbers or verification keys, so you'll need the report number from the PDF to use Janoshik's or BioRegen's lookup, and support to match a report to your lot.
Alpha Pro leads on COA publication (8.75 vs 8.5). NextGenPeps leads on lab traceability (8.75 vs 8.25). Our COA guide and purity vs net content guide explain what to check.
Independent testing: a tie at zero
We found no Finnrick profile for either vendor. Both get the floor score (5.0), and every certificate either one shows was commissioned by the vendor. See Janoshik vs Finnrick.
Labeling
Both use strict terms. Alpha Pro requires buyers to be 21+ and to represent that they're affiliated with a research institution. NextGenPeps' terms bar buyers from administering products to any human or animal, and its affiliate rules bar affiliates from suggesting human use. We saw no dosing content on either site.
Both sell GLP-1-class products under codes: GLP-1, GLP-2 and GLP-3 at Alpha Pro, and GLP-RT, GLP-TZ and GLP-S at NextGenPeps. Alpha Pro also sells capsules, sprays and topical serums, and its reconstitution calculator uses insulin-syringe units. That's why NextGenPeps scores higher on this factor (8.25 vs 7.0). We cover GLP-1-class products for research use only, with no dosing content. Background: FDA peptide regulation in 2026.
Business details
This is NextGenPeps' largest lead (9.5 vs 7.0). Its terms name "NUTRL LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as NextGenPeps" with a San Diego street address. Alpha Pro publishes no address or legal entity; its terms are governed by Florida law. Alpha Pro's domain was registered in February 2026, about ten months after NextGenPeps'.
Shipping, payment and returns
Both ship within the US only, though NextGenPeps also covers Puerto Rico and US territories.
- Alpha Pro says orders before 2pm EST ship the same business day (FAQ), while its shipping policy says 24-72 business hours. It ships by USPS, FedEx or UPS, free over $199. It takes major cards except Mastercard, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. There are no returns, and lost packages aren't its responsibility once with the carrier.
- NextGenPeps processes orders in 1-3 business days and ships by USPS only, free over $150 (policy). It takes all four major card networks, PayPal and Apple Pay. Wrong items are guaranteed a reship, and losses are reviewed case by case.

Reputation
NextGenPeps had 3.1/5 from 21 reviews on Trustpilot, split between 5-star and 1-star. We found no Trustpilot page for Alpha Pro Peptides. NextGenPeps is sometimes confused with NextGen Peptides (ngpeptide.com), a separate company.
