All seven vendors we compared in September list Selank, and Peptide Plugs documents its testing best: its product page gives a lot, a Freedom Diagnostics accession code, purity and measured content. PSPeptides and Alpha Pro Peptides also post Selank certificates with a named lab and lot. NextGenPeps showed Selank as out of stock, and no vendor has independent Finnrick data for it.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
Our criterion: a Selank-specific COA with a named lab and lot number beats a generic "third-party tested" claim. We don't test products; we check what each vendor publishes.
Regulatory status of Selank
- FDA: Selank isn't an approved drug. FDA's Category 2 compounding page (content current as of April 22, 2026) lists selank acetate among nominations "withdrawn by the nominators," with FDA's note that compounded selank "may pose risk for immunogenicity for certain routes of administration." Leaving Category 2 isn't approval.
- July 2026 advisory vote: Selank wasn't among the seven peptides FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviewed for the 503A bulks list. See our regulatory news tracker for the vote table.
- WADA: the 2026 Prohibited List doesn't name Selank (2026 list text). Its S0 section prohibits substances "with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use," so status depends on how an anti-doping body applies S0.
- DEA: not on DEA's controlled substances list dated August 27, 2026.

Single-vial prices shown on September 26, 2026, including any displayed sale price. $/mg is price divided by labeled mg. Vendors appear in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.

Notes on the table:
- American Peptides: the Selank page lists one 10 mg size. Its COA page has lot SEL10-0803 plus two superseded lots, with no lab or purity shown. It also sells a Selank + Semax vial, sprays and strips, which this page doesn't cover.
- NextGenPeps: the product page showed "Out of Stock." Both Selank entries in its COA library link to PDF files named for Semax and repeat the Semax purity figures, so we couldn't find a Selank-specific certificate.
- PSPeptides: the product page links heavy metals, endotoxin, sterility and fentanyl reports for the current batch. The August certificate reports 99.96% purity and 10.82 mg measured, by HPLC with mass spectrometry.
- Ascension Peptides: the product page lists Kovera Labs (June 2026) and MZ Biolabs (February 2026) batches but no purity figures on the page (checked September 26, 2026). Regular price is $60.
- Peptide Plugs: the product page reports 99.82% purity and 10.67 mg measured, plus identity, sterility, endotoxin and fentanyl results. The advertised $24 price is for 10 or more vials.
- Swiss Chems: the product page showed an out-of-stock notice for the selected option. We found no Selank report on its test results page.
- Alpha Pro Peptides: the certificate is from Freedom Diagnostics: 99.64% purity by LC-MS, 9.34 mg measured, a little under the 10 mg label.
- Licensed Peptides (added to our list September 28, 2026; not in the table): it listed a Selank nasal spray, which was sold out (shop, checked September 28, 2026). This page compares vials, and we couldn't confirm whether it sells Selank in vials because its full catalog requires a free account. Review
What is Selank?
Selank is a synthetic peptide that PubMed-indexed papers describe as "a peptide analog of tuftsin", a short peptide found in the body. Most published work on it comes from rodent studies of brain chemistry, such as research on gene expression in GABA signaling. That research doesn't establish effects in people.
How to check a Selank COA
- Match the lot on the certificate to your vial label. PSPeptides, Alpha Pro, Peptide Plugs and American Peptides print lots.
- Open the PDF and confirm the compound name. NextGenPeps' Selank entries show why: the file linked may be for a different peptide.
- Check identity by mass spectrometry, not just HPLC purity.
- Compare measured content to the label. The 11 mg PSPeptides vial and 10 mg vials give different concentrations at the same diluent volume.

Independent test data
None of the seven vendors we compared had independent Finnrick results for Selank on September 26, 2026. Licensed Peptides, which we added on September 28, 2026, has no Finnrick profile. Finnrick lists ten tests for Swiss Chems, covering BPC-157, ipamorelin and CJC-1295 only, and the other six vendors we compared have no Finnrick tests. Every certificate above was commissioned by the vendor, which chooses the sample it sends. More on community testing: what is Finnrick?

Bottom line
For Selank, Peptide Plugs has the most checkable documentation. PSPeptides has the lowest price per mg we found and a recent certificate with a full panel, but its blog publishes human dosing guides, which we count against it. Alpha Pro Peptides names its lab and lot. Ascension names labs per batch without showing purity on the page. American Peptides doesn't show the lab, NextGenPeps' Selank files point to Semax, and Swiss Chems posts no Selank report.
