Eight of the ten vendors we rate list DSIP, and Peptide Plugs documents its testing best: its product page gives a Freedom Diagnostics lot tested October 15, 2026, with purity, measured content and a seven-test safety panel, at $4.00/mg. Blank Peptides shows a Horizon Analytical lot you can verify on the lab's site, and Alpha Pro Peptides shows lot, purity and content. An FDA advisory committee voted against DSIP for pharmacy compounding in July 2026.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice.
Our criterion: a DSIP-specific COA with a named lab and lot number beats a generic "third-party tested" claim. We don't test products; we check what each vendor publishes.
Regulatory status of DSIP
- FDA: DSIP isn't an approved drug. FDA's Category 2 compounding page (content current as of April 22, 2026) lists "Emideltide (DSIP)" in its nominated-but-withdrawn table, with FDA's note of "immunogenicity risk; no safety information for the proposed route." FDA documents use the name emideltide, so a search for "DSIP" alone misses them.
- July 2026 advisory vote: FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 6 yes, 7 no, 1 abstaining on July 24, 2026, so emideltide was not recommended for the 503A bulks list, the only peptide rejected that week (RAPS; McDermott). FDA's briefing document said its criteria "weigh against" listing it. We found no FDA warning letter naming DSIP as of October 20, 2026.
- WADA: the 2026 Prohibited List doesn't name DSIP (2026 list text). Its S0 section prohibits substances "with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use." WADA hasn't ruled on DSIP specifically.
- DEA: not on DEA's controlled substances list, August 2026 edition.

NextGenPeps and Peptide Confidential didn't list DSIP on October 20, 2026.
Notes on the table:
- American Peptides: the product page sells one 5 mg size and links a certificate PDF. The page claims 99.9% purity, but neither the page nor its COA page text we read showed a DSIP lot or lab. It's the second-highest $/mg in this table.
- PSPeptides: the product page links a September 10 mg certificate and an August 5 mg certificate, with heavy metals, endotoxin and sterility reports for both and a fentanyl screen for the 5 mg. The page carries a "Deep Sleep" tag and a "Dosage protocol" link, which we count against it.
- Blank Peptides: the product page lists 848.8 g/mol and lot 4349569 at 99.36%, with identity, purity, endotoxin and appearance marked passed (certificate). Report number 1008022 can be checked on Horizon Analytical's site.
- Ascension Peptides: the product page lists a Kovera Labs batch (its number was cut off in the text we read) and an MZ Biolabs batch 14-01260229 tested February 25, 2026 (PDF). No purity is shown on the page. Regular price is $94.99.
- Peptide Plugs: the product page reports 99.02% purity and 12.91 mg measured, 29.1% over the 10 mg label, with identity, heavy metals, sterility, microbial and endotoxin among seven tests (certificate, accession code Pept2610140001). Its COA library shows a July 25, 2026 lot 160-05-DK at 11.31 mg, so overfill varies by lot.
- Swiss Chems: the product page lists DSIP lab results for batch 2607-ED-DS dated September 15, 2026; the report image's file name includes "Janoshik." The 2 mg vial makes its $/mg high.
- Licensed Peptides: the product page showed $53.99, down from $59.99, and links a report PDF coded V260309-11. The same code appears on its pinealon report, so it may be a testing batch rather than a product lot.
- Alpha Pro Peptides: the product page and testing page list lot AP-DSIP-0426, reported May 18, 2026: 99.34% purity and 9.29 mg net content, 7.1% under label (PDF). The text we read didn't name the lab.
Cheapest DSIP across all 67 vendors we track
As of October 20, 2026, 67 vendors in our DSIP price index list it (85 listings counting multi-vial kits). Per-mg figures below use in-stock single vials only.
- Cheapest per mg overall: a tie at $3.00/mg between Orbitrex Peptides (10 mg for $29.99) and Bulk Peptide Supply (5 mg for $15).
- Cheapest among vendors that pass our checks (no red flags, COAs published, lot-matched or named lab; 38 vendors): Orbitrex Peptides at $3.00/mg, then Peptide Plugs and Drexa Labs, both 10 mg for $40 ($4.00/mg).
- Median: $7.50/mg, with a range of $3.00 to $16.00. Peptide Plugs, Alpha Pro Peptides ($5.00/mg), PSPeptides' 10 mg ($5.50/mg) and Ascension ($6.00/mg) are below the median.
- Sizes: 5 mg is the most common vial (46 listings), then 10 mg (32); 2, 4, 8.9 and 15 mg vials also appear.
- Red flags: NuScience Peptides, Peptide Partners and Royal Peptides list DSIP and received FDA warning letters dated August 24, 2026. Peptide Pros, Sports Technology Labs ($4.70/mg) and Umbrella Labs also sell SARMs.

What is DSIP?
DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide, INN emideltide) is a nonapeptide, Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu, first reported in 1974 from the blood of sleeping rabbits (1984 review). No gene, precursor or receptor for it has been identified. Most of the literature is decades-old animal work, such as a rat neuronal study, plus small human studies like one in chronic insomniacs. FDA's 2026 briefing called the insomnia evidence "inconclusive and at best preliminary."
How to check a DSIP COA
- Check identity by mass. DSIP's molecular weight is about 849 g/mol (Blank Peptides lists 848.8). The certificate should confirm that mass by mass spectrometry, not just HPLC purity.
- Search both names. Lab reports and FDA documents may say emideltide. DSIP is unrelated to "deep sleep" blends or melatonin products that borrow the name.
- Match the lot and read the lab name on each PDF. Blank Peptides and Peptide Plugs give report or accession codes you can look up at the lab.
- Compare measured content to the label. Measured DSIP ranged from 9.29 mg (Alpha Pro) to 12.91 mg (Peptide Plugs) on 10 mg labels, which changes concentration math.

Independent test data
Finnrick's DSIP page showed four tests on October 20, 2026: two passes, one fail and one incomplete, the latest on August 3, 2026, across about 18 listed vendors. We couldn't match those results to the eight vendors above from the public page. Every certificate in the table was commissioned by the vendor, which chooses the sample it sends. Bottom line
For DSIP, Peptide Plugs has the most recent checkable record and the lowest price per mg among the vendors we rate. Blank Peptides names its lab and lot with a lookup code at a higher price, and Alpha Pro shows lot, purity and content without naming the lab in the text we read. PSPeptides posts the widest set of reports but tags the product for sleep outcomes and links a dosage protocol. American Peptides and Licensed Peptides charge more than $10/mg for 5 mg vials without showing a lab. For the full comparison, see best peptide vendors in the USA and third-party tested peptides.
