BioRegen is a third-party peptide testing lab that reports purity and identity by UPLC-MS and endotoxin by LAL, and lets anyone check a certificate on bioregen.com with its COA number and key. It publishes a price and turnaround but no street address, legal entity or accreditation. 5 vendors in our directory cite it as of October 21, 2026.
Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. It contains no dosing or use guidance.
Who runs BioRegen
"BioRegen" is a common name in biotech and regenerative medicine, so it's easy to land on the wrong company. The lab on peptide COAs is the one at bioregen.com. A NextGenPeps certificate we opened directs readers to bioregen.com/verify and is signed by an analytical chemist with a bioregen.com email address.
BioRegen's about page calls it an "independent third-party testing lab, not a supplier" and names three analytical chemists. Its homepage says samples go to a "USA-based lab" and lists a phone number.
What we couldn't confirm. We found no street address, legal entity name, founding date or accreditation on the site as of October 21, 2026. Its terms page said the terms are governed by the laws of "[Insert Jurisdiction]," an unfilled template placeholder. None of that says the testing is wrong, but it gives you less to check than labs that publish an address and an accreditation scope.
What it tests and what it costs
From BioRegen's homepage, peptide testing page and endotoxin page, checked October 21, 2026:
| Test | Price | Method, per BioRegen |
|---|---|---|
| Purity and identity | $165 per sample | UPLC-MS: identity by mass and retention time, purity as a percentage |
| Net content | Quoted | Quantitation |
| Endotoxin | Quoted | Kinetic chromogenic LAL on a Charles River Endosafe nexgen-PTS, EU/mL; stated range 0.05-5.0 EU/mL |
| pH | Quoted | Potentiometric, in triplicate |
| Blends | Quoted | - |
| Sterility | Not listed | - |
| Heavy metals | Not listed | - |
Small molecules start at $160. Typical turnaround is 2 to 5 business days from the day samples arrive, with larger orders scheduled at check-in. BioRegen says each test gets its own certificate: purity, identity and quantity share one COA, while endotoxin and pH are separate reports. Each COA lists the method, instrument, specification, result and a pass or fail verdict, with supporting data such as a chromatogram or mass spectrum.
The homepage counted 4,876 certificates published on October 21, 2026.
How to verify a BioRegen report
- Find the COA number and validation key. Both are printed on the certificate. BioRegen's pages call the second value a "validation key" or "security key."
- Go to bioregen.com yourself and open the Verify a CoA tool, or scan the QR code and check it opens a bioregen.com address.
- Enter both values and compare the lab's result with the vendor's PDF: client, sample name, lot, dates and every figure.
- Look for the separate endotoxin report if the vendor claims endotoxin testing. It has its own certificate number.
- Match the lot to your vial.
On the NextGenPeps certificate we opened, the key was a short code based on the client's name rather than a random string. Treat the key as a lookup aid, not a secret, and rely on comparing the lab's copy.
What a BioRegen COA does and doesn't prove
| It shows | It doesn't show |
|---|---|
| BioRegen issued a report under that COA number | That the sample came from your lot |
| Purity and mass-based identity of the submitted sample | Net content, unless that test was ordered |
| Endotoxin level, on a separate endotoxin COA | Sterility or heavy metals (not offered) |
| The client and lot the report names | Who accredits the lab, or where it is |
BioRegen logs each lot on receipt with the batch number the client provides, so the lot link is only as good as the vendor's labeling. Our HPLC purity guide explains purity figures, and the endotoxin guide covers EU/mL results.
Vendors in our directory that cite BioRegen
From our vendor directory data, checked October 19-21, 2026. "Lot numbers shown" means the vendor's COA page shows lot or batch numbers next to its certificates.
