Alpha Pro Peptides and Ascension Peptides score almost the same on our transparency method (7.5 vs 7.4). Alpha Pro lists a lot ID, purity and measured net content for every certificate, and a third party matched its reports to the lab's own copies. Ascension has an 85-record COA library you can search by lot, a slightly higher labeling score, and our code AFFILIATE50OFF for 50% off a first order. Neither has independent test data or publishes an address. Ascension is #4 and Alpha Pro #8 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.

Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

COAs and labs

Both have well-organized certificates. They're strong in different ways.

Alpha Pro's testing page is a table with one row per certificate: product, lot ID, report date, purity and measured net content. Net content tells you how much compound was actually in the tested vial, and few vendors show it in a table. Its BPC-157 10 mg certificate is from Freedom Diagnostics (lot AP-BPC10-0426, May 18, 2026) and reports 99.24% purity and 12.99 mg net content. A PeptideBenchmark review, which discloses an affiliate relationship with Alpha Pro, matched 35 reports to lab-hosted copies. It also found one 50mg product page reusing a 30mg certificate, and no sterility or endotoxin reports.

Ascension's COA library has 85 records you can filter by product, SKU, batch/lot, purity and date. The library doesn't name labs, but product pages now do: the BPC-157 10 mg page lists Kovera Labs (batch 12-05260628, July 10, 2026) and MZ Biolabs (batch 12-01260229, March 6, 2026). We found no link to a lab-side verification tool.

Ascension leads on COA publication (9.25 vs 8.75) for its search. Alpha Pro leads on lab traceability (8.25 vs 7.0) because its reports were matched to the lab's copies. See our COA guide and purity vs net content.

Independent testing: a tie at zero

We found no Finnrick profile for Alpha Pro. Finnrick shows 0 tests for Ascension. Both get the floor score (5.0), and every certificate above was commissioned by the vendor. See what is Finnrick?

Labeling

Both have strict terms and a 21+ requirement. Alpha Pro also asks buyers to represent a research affiliation.

  • Alpha Pro sells GLP-1-class products under codes (GLP-1, GLP-2, GLP-3), plus capsules, sprays and topical serums. Its reconstitution calculator uses insulin-syringe settings.
  • Ascension sells six items only under codes (C-10, R-10, R-30, S-5, T-10, T-30) and stacks with names like "GLOW." In its August 2026 letter to Peptide Partners, FDA identified similar abbreviations as GLP-1-class drugs.

Ascension scores higher here (7.5 vs 7.0); our review deducted only for its coded items and stack names. We cover GLP-1-class products for research use only, with no dosing content. Background: FDA peptide regulation in 2026.

Business details, shipping and payment

Neither publishes a legal entity or street address, and both scored 7.0 on business transparency.

  • Alpha Pro is newer (domain registered February 20, 2026). Its FAQ says orders before 2pm EST ship the same business day, though its shipping policy says 24-72 business hours. It ships by USPS, FedEx or UPS, free over $199. It takes major cards except Mastercard, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. There are no returns.
  • Ascension lists a phone number, (303) 518-6550. Orders before 2 PM Central ship within 24 hours by UPS Ground, for a flat $15 with no free-shipping threshold we found. Its FAQ lists Visa, Discover, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay and ACH; its terms mention Visa or Mastercard, so check at checkout. All sales are final.
