American Peptides

  • Pro: A lot-number lookup tool and 126 lot-matched certificates on file, per its verify page
  • Pro: Names a testing lab on its homepage: Bioviridian (College Station, TX), which runs its own public COA search
  • Pro: Publishes its legal entity (American Peptides LLC), city (Shreveport, LA), phone number and payment methods
  • Pro: No FDA warning letter found as of September 26, 2026
  • Con: Young business: the domain was registered in February 2026, and Finnrick lists no independent tests
  • Con: Its COA page and lookup tool don't name the lab, and we couldn't read the lab name on the PDFs we opened
  • Con: Health-style product naming, such as an 'ASCEND Bundle - Metabolic + Glow Up Research Stack' and 'Brain-Fuel' dissolving strips

Peptide Confidential

  • Pro: Its lab reports page keeps a public record for all 32 lots it has had tested, including 5 rejected and 2 withdrawn, each with the reason
  • Pro: Each record names the lab (Peptide Test Canada or Testides), the test date and purity, and links the lab's document; a code printed on the vial opens that lot's record
  • Pro: Names its founder, Troy White, and publishes a Calgary phone number, WhatsApp and email
  • Pro: Strict research-use framing: a research declaration is recorded with every order and staff won't answer use questions
  • Con: New: the domain was registered on July 10, 2026, no legal entity or street address is published, and there's no Finnrick profile
  • Con: Ships from Calgary, Canada: US orders clear customs, charges are in Canadian dollars, and a parcel customs seizes isn't refunded or reshipped
  • Con: Records copy only the purity figure, the Testides certificate has no LC-MS/MS identity test, and two current lot records were corrected to 'lot not confirmed' in October 2026

Peptide Confidential and American Peptides tie on our transparency method (7.6 each), for opposite reasons. Peptide Confidential names its lab on every lot record, prints a lookup code on every vial and keeps rejected and withdrawn lots public, but it's a Calgary business with no legal entity on its site. American Peptides publishes its LLC, ships inside the US and has the larger lookup (126 lot-matched certificates), but names its lab only on its homepage. Neither has independent test data. American Peptides is #1 and Peptide Confidential #7 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.

Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

COAs and labs

Both vendors let you go from the vial in your hand to its certificate, which is the most useful check a buyer can run.

Peptide Confidential puts the lab name, test date and purity on each lot's public record and links the lab's document. It also keeps the lots it rejected or pulled from sale on the same page, which no other vendor on our list does. Two cautions: the record copies only the purity figure, so you need the PDF for identity and content, and the current tesamorelin and GLP3 RT 30 mg records were corrected on October 8 and 11, 2026 to "lot not confirmed" (review).

American Peptides says on its homepage that every batch is verified by Bioviridian, but its COA page and lookup don't name a lab, and the PDFs we opened weren't machine-readable (review). To rely on one, check it against Bioviridian's own search.

Business transparency

American Peptides publishes its legal entity and city. Peptide Confidential names its founder, Troy White, and publishes a Calgary phone number, WhatsApp and email, but no entity or street address. Both domains are from 2026.

Labeling

Both carry strict research-use terms. Peptide Confidential records a research-use declaration with every order and won't answer use questions, but sells retatrutide under the code "GLP3 RT." American Peptides loses points for consumer-style names such as an "ASCEND Bundle - Metabolic + Glow Up Research Stack" and "Brain-Fuel" dissolving strips.

Peptide Confidential is cheaper on every item we could match, before its automatic multi-vial discount. US buyers pay in Canadian dollars and take the customs risk below.

Shipping to US addresses

American Peptides ships from Louisiana, processes in 24-48 business hours and ships free over $300. Peptide Confidential aims to ship the same business day from Calgary by Canada Post international service. It doesn't quote a US delivery window, the buyer is the importer, and a parcel customs holds or seizes isn't refunded or reshipped (shipping policy). See peptide shipping and customs.

Independent testing

Neither vendor has community test data yet. Finnrick showed American Peptides with a profile and 0 tests, and had no profile for Peptide Confidential on October 13, 2026. Every certificate on both sites was commissioned by the vendor, which chooses the sample it sends, so matching your lot and checking the document with the lab are the checks you can run yourself. Which should you choose?

  • Choose Peptide Confidential if you want the lab named on your lot's record, a public history that includes failed lots, and lower prices, and you accept a cross-border shipment. Visit Peptide Confidential.
  • Choose American Peptides if you want a US-based seller with a published LLC and no customs step. Visit American Peptides.

Either way, open the certificate for your exact lot. Neither has independent test data yet.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Peptide Confidential or American Peptides more transparent?

Peptide Confidential, on the items we compared. On October 13, 2026, its MOTS-c 10 mg was CA$50 (about US$35) and TB-500 10 mg CA$60 (about US$42). American Peptides listed both at $100 when we checked on September 26, 2026.

Which is better for US buyers?
