American Peptides

  • Pro: A lot-number lookup tool and 126 lot-matched certificates on file, per its verify page
  • Pro: Names a testing lab on its homepage: Bioviridian (College Station, TX), which runs its own public COA search
  • Pro: Publishes its legal entity (American Peptides LLC), city (Shreveport, LA), phone number and payment methods
  • Pro: No FDA warning letter found as of September 26, 2026
  • Con: Young business: the domain was registered in February 2026, and Finnrick lists no independent tests
  • Con: Its COA page and lookup tool don't name the lab, and we couldn't read the lab name on the PDFs we opened
  • Con: Health-style product naming, such as an 'ASCEND Bundle - Metabolic + Glow Up Research Stack' and 'Brain-Fuel' dissolving strips

PSPeptides

  • Pro: Certifications page covers about 60 products, with COAs dated by month and a test ID on each file
  • Pro: The COA we opened was issued by a named lab (North American Diagnostics) and included a batch number and method
  • Pro: Wide payment options: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Cash App, Zelle, Afterpay and Klarna
  • Pro: Trustpilot shows 4.2/5 from 175 reviews (the company invites reviews)
  • Con: Its blog publishes human dosing guides, such as a week-by-week retatrutide dosage chart, and bundles are named 'Shred Express' and 'Turn Back Time'
  • Con: The site doesn't name its lab; the lab on the COA we opened lists no accreditation or verification key
  • Con: Claims 'over 5 years in business,' but the domain was registered in November 2025; the US manufacturing and cGMP claims are unverified

American Peptides is the more transparent of the two on our transparency method (7.6 vs 7.0). It lets you look up a certificate by the lot number on your vial and names its lab, Bioviridian, on its homepage. PSPeptides posts dated COAs for about 60 products and is easier to buy from: faster shipping, more payment options and our 10% code. But its blog publishes human dosing guides, which conflicts with research-use labeling. Neither has independent test data as of September 26, 2026. American Peptides is #1 and PSPeptides #3 in our editors' order, which isn't sorted by score.

Notice: Research peptides are sold for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not FDA-approved, not for human or animal consumption, and this page is not medical advice. This comparison covers supplier transparency only, based on public documentation. We didn't purchase or test products.

COAs and labs

Both publish a lot of certificates. The difference is how easily you can tie one to your vial and to a lab.

American Peptides has a verify page where you type the lot number from a vial and pull up that lot's certificate. It showed 126 lot-matched certificates when we checked. Its COA page keeps older "superseded" lots online. The homepage says every batch is verified by Bioviridian, but the COA page and lookup don't name a lab, and we couldn't read the lab name on the PDFs we opened.

PSPeptides' certifications page covers about 60 products, dated by month with a test ID in each file name. The certificate we opened came from North American Diagnostics, with a batch number and 99.96% purity, but no accreditation or verification key. Its BPC-157 product page also links heavy metals, endotoxin, sterility and fentanyl reports. The site's "Verify" page looks up orders, not certificates.

On our scale, American Peptides leads on COA publication (9.25 vs 9.0) and lab traceability (7.5 vs 6.75). In both cases, confirm a report with the issuing lab. Our COA guide shows how.

Independent testing: a tie at zero

Finnrick tracks both vendors but shows no tests for either: American Peptides and "ProSupply PS Peptides". Both get the floor score (5.0) on this factor. Every certificate either vendor shows was commissioned by the vendor. See Janoshik vs Finnrick for why that matters.

Labeling: the biggest difference

Both carry research-use disclaimers. Both also have content that points the other way, but PSPeptides goes further.

  • American Peptides uses health-style names. The ASCEND bundle is a "Metabolic + Glow Up Research Stack," and a dissolving strip is sold as "Brain-Fuel." It also sells sprays.
  • PSPeptides publishes dosing guides on its blog. The retatrutide page is titled "Week-by-Week Chart." Its Shred Express bundle is described as "designed for multi-pathway fat loss and metabolic research," and other bundles are named "Turn Back Time" and "Cut & Glow."

We score American Peptides 7.0 and PSPeptides 5.75 on this factor. FDA has said a research-use label doesn't protect a seller whose content points to human use (background). Both sell GLP-1-class compounds.

Business details

American Peptides publishes its LLC name, a Shreveport, LA location and a phone number, but no street address (terms). PSPeptides says it's New Jersey-based with a 25-person team and claims "over 5 years in business" and US cGMP manufacturing (about). Its domain was registered in November 2025, and we found nothing to verify the manufacturing claim. American Peptides scores 8.5 on business transparency, PSPeptides 7.5.

Shipping, payment and returns

PSPeptides is the easier checkout.

  • PSPeptides says orders before 2PM EST ship the same day, with free UPS 2nd Day Air over $200, and ships to the US, Canada, the EU, the UK and Australia (homepage). It takes the widest range of payment methods on our list, including buy-now-pay-later (payment options).
  • American Peptides also advertises a 2PM EST cutoff, but its shipping policy says orders dispatch within 24-48 business hours. Free shipping starts at $300, and it ships to 215 countries. It takes Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, ACH/wire and crypto. All sales are final, and its terms set a $2,500 liquidated damages fee for chargebacks filed without first contacting support.

Reputation

PSPeptides had 4.2/5 from 175 reviews on a Trustpilot profile that invites reviews, which tends to lift scores. American Peptides had 3.0/5 from 14 reviews on an unclaimed profile. Both show complaints about delays alongside praise for support.
